
LONDON — A 12-year-old was killed and two others were injured Tuesday in a shooting carried out by another child at a school in Finland, police officials said.
“The police arrested the suspect. The investigation of the act continues,” Finnish police said in a statement.

All those involved in the shooting at the Viertola school in Vantaa, on the outskirts of Helsinki, are children, police said.
The suspect, who was also identified as a 12-year-old, was in possession of a firearm when arrested, police said.
