The Microsoft build at the end of January crashed mendeley windows 10 64 bit computer. I then had to re-install everything before anyone says you should have had restore points, I had 6 and none of them worked. Like Doug, I suspect that what you had installed before, which worked with Mendeley, was Office bit, which is what Microsoft recommends for most users, even those with bit Windows.
In my case, I do have bit Office and I do work with complex Excel workbook. But I also need Mendeley to run and the issue I am facing is that word plugin won’t install. I have uninstalled Office package and re-installed. I have uninstalled Mendeley desktop several times. Please run Word at least once before installing the plugin. Can anyone help me with that?
