DU UG Admission 2022: University of Delhi allotted 80,164 seats across several categories. Approximately, 50,000 candidates have accepted the seats allocated to them in first merit list of Delhi University Undergraduate (DU UG) 2022 Counselling.
The Delhi university, on 20 October 2022 released the first list of seat allocations with the names of nearly 80,000 students for admission to several undergraduate programmes. The first merit seat allotment list marks the commencement of the third and last phase of the DU UG admission process.
DU Seat Acceptance
- The University of Delhi have given a three-day window to the students i.e. till 21 October 2022 to “accept” the allotted seat.
- This year, the University of Delhi is granting admissions to students on the basis of their Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores-2022 instead of their Class 12 marks. Earlier, the university issued the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), its admission-cum-allocation policy.
- To accept the seat, the candidate will have to click on “Accept Allocation” under the user action tab.
- The provision for seat acceptance of a particular allotted seat will be valid only for that specific round in which the seat was allocated to the students.
- The colleges affiliated to the university will be able to verify and approve the online applications from October 19 to October 22, 2022.
DU UG Fee Payment
- For the first round of CSAS seat allocation and admission, the last date for payment of admission fees is October 24, 2022.
- The mode of fee payment is online. In the context of provisional seat allocation, ‘Allocated Seat’ refers to a unique combination of programme plus college.
As per the data provided by Delhi University, more than 1.5 lakh applicants marked their college and course preferences till the last date for Phase II last week.
However, the seat allocation list has not been issued in the public domain and the candidate will only be able to see the college and courses allotted to them on their dashboard.
