His party, PTI, has decided to hit the streets and challenge the ruling by filing an appeal to the Islamabad High Court.

Liz Truss quits as UK PM

Liz Truss has become the shortest-serving Prime Minister of the UK after quitting the post only after 45 days. Her economic plan to offer tax rebates to industrialists crashed the bond markets and impacted the already reeling economy negatively. She had inherited an economic and cost of living crisis as PM as an aftereffect of the Covid pandemic and Russo-Ukraine war.
The UK is currently going through severe economic and political instability. The ruling conservative party is marred by infighting following competing aspirations and factionalism. Rishi Sunak, Penny Mordaunt, Boris Johnson, and Jeremy Hunt are said to be the leading contenders for the coveted PM post.
