Twitter Down Today Latest News: Twitter users were in for a shock on Thursday morning as the micro-blogging platform logged them out automatically and were then greeted by an error message ‘Something went wrong, but don’t fret — it’s not your fault. Let’s try again’. However, users were not able to gain access to their profiles. This is the third time that Twitter was down since takeover by Elon Musk in late October.
The outage was reported in several cities including Delhi, Nagpur, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata as per the DownDetector website. While the error message played out, the usere were unable to logged-in or logout despite refreshing multiple times. Both the desktop and mobile users were facing issue. Downdetector is a platform that tracks websites across the globe and gives an estimate whether a website is working or not.
Acvcording to the DownDetector website, users across the globe started facing issues after 6am. Other countries where users reported facing problems included the United States, Birtain, Canada and France. As of 8.10 am, the site was not restored to normalcy.
Billionaire Elon Musk acquired Twitter in the last week of October in a $44-billion deal. Since then, he has been working to bring out many new features including making the Twitter Blue a paid service. The Twitter is also rolling out the verified feature in multiple colours for different categories/set of people. The microblogging platform has seen a rise in hate speech and technical problems as media reports say up to 75% of the staff has been cut since he took over. The changes Twitter is undergoing have prompted many people to leave the platform, and more to consider doing so.
