The 7th edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022, has been released on July 15, 2022, by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at nirfindia.org. For the fourth consecutive year, IIT Madras has topped the “Overall” NIRF Rankings, with IISc Bengaluru and IIT Bombay taking second and third place, respectively.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) uses a number of parameters to rank institutions all over India. These parameters consist of:
- Teaching, Learning and Resources
- Research and Professional Practice
- Graduation Outcomes
- Outreach and Inclusivity
- Perception
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) started the governmental body known as the National Institutional Ranking Framework, or NIRF. The number of colleges is listed in accordance with how effective they are in terms of placement, fees, reviews, etc. It helps students understand the ranking of the colleges they desire to enroll by providing the ranking on a national scale.
