Achanta Sharath Kamal won his 6th Commonwealth Games Gold medal on Sunday, August 7 as the veteran paddler and Sreeja Akula won the mixed doubles table tennis event in Birmingham. Sharath Kamal won his 3rd medal in the ongoing Games in Birmingham.
Sharath Kamal and Sreeja Akula, the reigning national champions, defeated Javen Choong and Karen Lyne of Malaysia 3-1 in the final of the mixed doubles table tennis event.
