JKSSB is going to hold Written Exam in CBT mode for the 1363 posts of Junior Engineer and Sub-Inspector from December 5 onwards. Applicants who have already applied for these 1363 vacancies – 163 for Junior Engineer (Civil) and 1200 for Sub-Inspector – can check the official notification by visiting the JKSSB official website at https://www.jkssb.nic.in/
Admit Card for the same is expected to be uploaded soon by the board. In case you aren’t aware of the syllabus and the exam pattern of the exam, you can find the same by visiting the official website.
The job notification was out way back in 2021 and the Application Forms for these vacancies were filled up and submitted by the job aspirants between 9 October to 17 November 2021.
The exam for Junior Engineer (Civil) will take place on the 5th and 6th December while the same for the posts of Sub-Inspector will be conducted from 7-20 December 2022.
After final selection, the Junior Engineers will work under Jal Shakti Department and Sub-Inspectors under the Home Department.
Earlier, the JKSSB declared the exam date of various posts including Horticulture Technician (Grade 4) and Junior Stenographer which is on 29th of November 2022. There are 198 posts vacant for Horticulture Technician (Grade 4) whereas the number of vacancies for Junior Stenographer/Junior Scale Stenographer/Personal Assistant is 216.
Steps to download the JKSSB Exam Date 2022 for Junior Engineer and Sub-Inspector Vacancies

- On the homepage itself, you will see the “what’s new” window at the top
- Click on the link which reads, “Advance Notice for Conduct of Written Examination/Computer Based Written Test (CBT).”
- Now the notification PDF will show up on the screen
- Check the notification for more clarity and keep visiting the same What’s New section of the website for further updates regarding the same. We will keep you posted as and when there is any further update.
