Students looking to pursue design courses in NIFT, buckle up!
The National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT has begun the process of admission for the 2023 onward batch. Today, November 1, 2022 is the starting date to apply for the NIFT Exam 2023. Interested students can register online for the NIFT Entrance Test 2023 by visiting the official website at niftadmissions.in.
Be mindful that you can apply by December 31 without paying any late fee. With a late fee, you can get an extension of a week or two at most. Just so you know, NIFT 2023 exam will be held to fill up a total of 4517 seats across various NIFT colleges in India.

The cut-off date to determine the candidate’s age is August 1, 2023. There is 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/PwD category applicants.
Documents and Details required to fill out the NIFT Application Form 2023
- An E-mail ID and Mobile Number for registration and for receiving all future correspondence.
- A mobile-linked Aadhar
- A recent scanned passport-sized colour photograph (under 200KB in jpeg format)
- Your scanned signature using a Blue/Black pen on a white sheet (under 100KB in jpeg/jpg/png/bmp/gif format)
- Educational Qualification/Certificates (digital format)
- Certificate of Disability (if applicable)
- ST/SC/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
How to Apply OR Register for the NIFT 2023 Exam
- Visit the official website of NIFT 2023- http://niftadmissions.in/
- Scroll Down the homepage to find and click on “Click here to Apply” under the ‘ACADEMIC SESSION 2023-24‘ section.
- You will be directed to a candidate login page
- Old Users can directly log in; New Users can click on the “New Registration” link
- Fill in your mobile-linked Aadhar number and click on send OTP
- Some of your details will already be filled in through Aadhar while the remaining will have to be filled in by you.
- Once all the details are submitted, click on the “sign up” button. After Sign-Up, you have to confirm it again.
- The next step is to Activate your Registration through the link sent to your given Email ID, Please press this link to activate your NIFT Account.
- Now Log in to your NIFT account, Click on “Click Here to Apply” to reach the NIFT Application Form 2023
- Fill in all the details, and upload the Photo, Signature, and other documents as required.
- Pay the Application Fee
- Download and take a printout of the final confirmation page for future reference.

- NIFT conducts a national-level entrance exam every year for granting students admission into UG and PG design courses.
- More than 40,000 students take part in NIFT Exam every year.
- The Exam tests the candidate’s creativity through drawing, observation, visualization and writing skills.
