The Rajasthan Subordinate Ministerial Service Selection Board (RSMSSB) issued the final result for the selection of candidates for the job of Gram Vikas Adhikari or Village Development Officer on rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The board has chosen a total of 4774 candidates for the final selection, including 4070 for the NON-TSP Area and 704 for the TSP Area. The RSMSSB VDO Pre-Exam was held on December 27 and 28, 2021. The RSMSSB VDO Result was issued on 2 April 2022 on the official website, rsmssb.gov.in, and the mains test for selected candidates was held on 9 July 2022, with the mains result being announced on 29 July 2022.

The board sought submissions from qualified people to fill a total of 5396 vacancies. There were 839 vacancies announced for non-TSP areas and 704 jobs announced for TSP areas.
The results of the mains were revealed on July 29, 2022. The main examination took place on July 9, 2022. This recruitment campaign is being held to fill 5396 posts for Village Development Officers, 4557 of which are unreserved and 839 of which are reserved.
