Saris, bralettes and crop tops: Here’s refashioning masculinity

Fashion is not just a medium of self-expression but also a reflection of our society. It is a pertinent tool to bring in a social change and for the longest time, designers, stylists, and fashion writers have been collectively pushing the boundaries in this domain. Several gender-agnostic brands have emerged over the years in India, thereby blurring the lines of how men and women dress up. While a woman clad in a man’s pantsuit has attained that normalcy, a man sporting a sari or a crop top is still frowned upon. In our special edit, we feature Indian designer labels that are blurring the lines by redefining men’s fashion and making outfits that express one’s individuality instead of just being an article of clothing. Take a look.
