In an earlier post, Grant shared his advice for parents on how to make their kids love reading. Sharing his tips, Grant tweeted: “If you want your kids to love reading, don’t just fill your home with books. Make them part of your life.”
Talking of older readers, for those who aim to speed read, the bestselling author also shared his thoughts in a recent tweet as he wrote, “A great book should be savored like a gourmet meal, not inhaled like fast food.”
Meanwhile, it is often noticed that many people struggle at finishing the book they started reading. But instead of giving his tips on how to finish that half-read book, Grant has also said that it is okay to not finish reading all the books you start. “Giving up isn’t an admission of failure. It’s an act of recognition that time is scarce and there are many books worth reading,” Grant tweeted, making a point.
And if you are one of those people who read books to learn new things, then here’s Grant’s practical tip for you. “To remember what you read, don’t reread or highlight it. Summarize it and share it with others,” Grant said in an earlier tweet.
